Your mailbox drop indicates that you will work with fellow councillors as a team. Which newbie councillor doesn't think that before going in? The fact is, people don't agree. How will a council you are a part of work together if there isn't consensus about the right way to go?

Hi,

Thanks for the comments (havent been called a "newbie" in a while!). I have a LOT of experience in dealing with "difficult" people, most of which can be reasoned with, aswell as being part of a team. But you are very right in the fact that, if others arent willing to work as part of a team then it will be almost impossible to achieve anything. I cant answer for the whole Council obviously, only for myself: I will endeavour to work with all Councillors, regardless of personnal views towards them, to achieve the best results for the city, and do my best to convince other Councillors of issues my ward members feel strongly about.
Hopefully this answers your question, I do have time free on Wednesday if you would like to meet and discuss your other issues in person. Feel free to call 021 517 792.

Cheers mate
